About the Business
Meet Chef Lorianni
My name is Lorianni Lantigua-Rondon, founder and chef behind M’s Bakery Café and our signature artisanal jam collection, Sol de la Isla.
A decade ago, I believed my professional path would lead me into medicine. Along the way, however, I discovered a deeper calling in the art of pastry, culinary creativity, and hospitality.
As an immigrant and a mother, I experienced the challenges of navigating a demanding corporate career without a local family support system. That experience inspired me to pursue greater flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to build something meaningful for my family and community.
After leaving a stable university position, I stepped into full-time entrepreneurship and began transforming my passion for Dominican flavors into a growing culinary brand.
